Sports commentator Eamonn Dunphy's move to the Examiner is being supported by a £100,000 advertising campaign devised by Southern Advertising. It will run across television, radio and print starting this week and is predominantly aimed at young males.
In order to fully grab the attention of these young men at a time when their minds are less than occupied, the agency has booked 40 spaces with Indoor Media Solutions. These are positioned in and around the wash hand basins in the men's toilets in 40 pubs - mostly in Dublin city centre.
