Spare a thought, too, for Sile de Valera. The intrepid arts minister was in Cannes this week opening the Irish pavilion at the famous film festival.
She also found time to view the opening film, Moulin Rouge, which portrays the bohemian scene in Paris around 1900.
Dinner followed at the famous Palais des Festivals - as did a cancan revue in honour of the flick.
All good clean, innocent fun, we're sure. Quite what the Minister's grandfather, Eamon, would make of the cancan is another matter.
