Aberdeen Asset Management Ireland has introduced the Aberdeen Global range of investment funds offering 24 new investment options to investors here. Aberdeen is one of the Republic's largest independent investment managers with €2.7 billion (£3.43 billion) under management.

Aberdeen Global is based in Luxembourg and offers investment funds ranging from high to low risk and from income to growth. These offshore funds are now taxed at the same rate as domestically-run funds but instead of being taxed 23 per cent at exit, investors look after their own tax affairs in the same way as they would with shares.
