The level of acquisition activity in the Republic for the first six months of the year has increased on the same period last year, according to a survey. Up to the end of June, acquisition activity is valued at £1.55 billion compared to £1.25 billion last year, says the report compiled by accountancy firm, Chapman Flood. Some 78 acquisition deals have been reported so far this year compared to 59 during the same period last year.
