WITH THE agri-food sector recognised as a cornerstone for Irish exports and innovation in the Irish economy these days, a new food technology and knowledge-transfer strategy for the food industry is due to be unveiled by the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, on Thursday May 10th at the Teagasc Food Gateways exhibition.
The exhibition, which takes place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, will feature more than 40 exhibits of new technologies for the agri-food sector, along with specialist advice and services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). There will also be advice on how to commercialise and develop ideas, with Teagasc and Enterprise Ireland staff on hand.
