AIB and Spanish banking group Bankinter S.A. have entered into an agreement which will facilitate the financing of property in Spain. for Irish residents.

From Monday, Irish residents wishing to obtain a loan to invest in Spanish property will be able to do so by making a loan application to Bankinter via AIB Mortgages Direct. The finance will be secured on the Spanish property, and AIB has said the loan application process will be fast and simple from application to agreement.
