The Republic's newest soap opera continues at the Committee of Public Account hearings in Dublin, which resume tomorrow. Among the highlights will be the appearance of Revenue Commissioners chairman Mr Dermot Quigley and his predecessor, Mr Cathal Mac Domhnaill, on Wednesday. The Comptroller and Auditor General, Mr John Purcell, whose report prompted the hearings, appears on Thursday and Friday, the first in a procession of bankers, with Irish Life & Permanent executives also facing the committee along with those from Guinness & Mahon.
