Ms Orla Branigan is to join the Dublin-based public relations firm Kelly Gallagher. The company said yesterday Ms Branigan, who was most recently a marketing and business development executive with the software company, Flexicom, will focus on IT and e-commerce clients in her new role.

A graduate of the University of Ulster and Cornell University, Ms Branigan is a former Bord Failte executive, where she was responsible for the development and management of Ireland's tourism marketing strategy in Europe.
