Bank of Ireland has appointed Mrs Caroline Marland and Mr Thomas Moran to its court of directors.

Mrs Marland, from Dublin, is a former managing director of Guardian Newspapers and a member of the board of the Institute of Directors and the newspaper panel of the Competition Commission in the UK. Mr Moran is president and chief executive officer of Mutual of America, a life insurance company in the US.
