More than a quarter of Bank of Ireland's ATMs now offer an Irish language option. Since the introduction of the Republic's first Irish language ATM in University Branch Galway in May, the Irish language option has been introduced at 90 of Bank of Ireland's ATMs.
The selected ATMs give customers the option of carrying out all their transactions through Irish. The initiative was originally introduced to 21 machines in the Galway area in association with Gaillimh le Gaeilge, but customer demand has led to its expansion.
