Keith Bohanna is not only a high-profile Irish blogger, but he is also a local champion of blogging as a business tool.

Bohanna is an independent internet consultant based in Kilkenny who advises small and medium-sized firms on how best to harness internet technologies.

Last week, Pure Play was recognised by Typepad, the blogging service which Bohanna uses, as its featured blog of the day, citing it as a "terrific source for ideas and inspiration".

In a follow-up post on the day, Bohanna selflessly used the upsurge in traffic that resulted from being linked to Typepad's homepage to highlight other technology startups and bloggers in Ireland that an international audience might have come across.
