TransAer, the independent Irish charter airline based in Dublin, has commenced a £1.2 million (€1.5 million) contract won from the German government to transport government officials between Bonn and Berlin.
The two-year contract has been awarded to the company's German operation, TransAer Cologne. The company will carry officials to Berlin on Monday mornings and from Berlin on Friday evenings. The service is needed because of the designation of Berlin as the new German capital.
