Dolmen Butler Briscoe, the Irish stockbrokers, announced yesterday that it has opened its first overseas office in Glasgow, joining forces with Scottish stockbroker, Mr Dennis McGuinness.

Mr Paul McGowan, joint managing director of the company, said "we welcome this opportunity to expand into the UK marketplace and the potential it offers us to develop our European business. The choice of Glasgow was a natural first step in this progression, as both cities have a long and harmonious relationship".
