President Bush has signed into law a two-year extension of a ban on internet tax designed to spur e-commerce during the holiday season.

Congress allowed the previous ban to expire on October 21st, to the dismay of the internet industry, but recently passed an extension to ban taxes on internet access and e-commerce.

The new measure, "will ensure that the growth of the internet is not slowed by additional taxation," Bush said.
