For 10 years, farmers in Askeaton, Co Limerick, have struggled with a mystery illness affecting their animals. Ear To The Ground (Monday, 8.30 p.m., RT╔1) looks at the findings of a new Environmental Protection Agency report.

Untold: An Indian Affair - Rogue Trader (Sunday, 8 p.m., Channel 4) examines the origins of British rule in India and tells the story of Robert Clive, lauded as a hero by the Victorians but who was a crooked businessman, colluding with Indian traders to subvert local politics.

The retail diamond trade is worth more than $30 billion (€32.7 billion) annually. Many of the stones, however, come from African countries immersed in civil wars, reports Correspondent (Sunday, 7.15 p.m., BBC2). These "blood diamonds" are sold by rebels to fund their campaigns.

The programme travels to Sierra Leone, where it finds slave labour, torture and murder of the citizens of Kono in the heartland of the Revolutionary United Front.

Outstanding entrepreneurs who are keeping the economy moving forward are being saluted again this year in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Thursday, 10.35 p.m., RT╔1), which was postponed from September 14th due to the attacks on the US. Last year's winner was Eddie Jordan and he will participate along with 23 other "best of the best" at the inaugural World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Mr Denis O'Brien, who was an award recipient in 1998, is chairman of the independent judging panel.
