Designer fashion outlets at Kildare Village discount shopping centre near Kildare town are likely to post sales of €40 million in the year to July and turn an operating profit in the next trading period, a year ahead of schedule.
Value Retail, the London-based developer of the €50 million village, said all outlets in the development off the M7 dual carriageway linking Naas and Portlaoise will be fully let by Christmas after a phased opening last June.
We're outperforming the business plan," said Value Retail chairman Scott Malkin, before an official opening event last night. "It's been very good across the board but ladies fashion has been particularly strong."
