Tayto has appointed Cawley Nea as its advertising agency. The account, thought to be worth in excess of £3 million (€3.8 million) annually, was previously held by Dimension. Cawley Nea was appointed after a tendering process which included three other agencies: Young Advertising, McCann Erickson and Irish International.

Tayto is considered an icon brand in the Irish market with a broad consumer base.

The brand has recently experienced heavy competition, particularly from Pringles and Hunky Dory, whose advertising tends to be upbeat and heavily youth oriented.
