The chairman of CERT, the State tourism training agency, is to relinquish the position when his term of office expires on December 8th. Announcing his decision yesterday, Mr James Nugent said that having served three terms, during which he became the longest-serving chairman of a semi-state body, it was time to move on. He said CERT had reached the "peak of its development" and was continuing to play a vital role in the tourism industry.
