An owner-occupier has paid in the region of €350,000 for the former O’Connor Jewellers workshop and showrooms at Harold’s Cross Road in Dublin 6W.
Quinn Agnew handled the sale of the property overlooking Harold's Cross greyhound track, which included a building extending to 680sq m (7,319sq ft) and ancillary premises of 150sq m (1,614sq ft).
The complex was at the centre of a large robbery in 1983 when the gangster Martin “The General” Cahill robbed the premises and stole gold and diamonds valued at €2.55 million.
