Office MarketBusinessman Gerry Conlon is offering the former Hibernian headquarters at Haddington Road, Dublin 4, to lease on a short term basis.
Conlon purchased Haddington House and Hibernian House last year from the insurance company when it relocated to Upper Hatch Street. He purchased the two blocks along with an office investment for an estimated €80 million.
Conlon plans to let the blocks on a short term lease while he awaits planning permission for a larger apartment and office scheme on the site.
Joint agents Kelly Walsh and HT Meagher O'Reilly are seeking a rent of €485 per sq m (€45 per sq ft) and €3,500 for each of the car-parking spaces. The buildings, midway between Baggot Street Upper and Northumberland Road, are available on a short term lease up to a maximum of three years.
They are available in their entirety or on a floor-by-floor basis, according to Robert Fay from HT Meagher O'Reilly.
Haddington House has a net internal area of around 4,226sq m (45,488sq ft) with 26 car-parking spaces. Hibernian House is laid out over 1,427sq m (15,360sq ft) and has 15 car-parking spaces.
The buildings will appeal to firms who are in need of stop-gap space prior to a move to new accommodation or a company in need of overflow space.
It's in a great Dublin 4 location, well served by transport links, including the Dart at Barrow Street and the Luas at St Stephen's Green.
