Retail Investment: A small retail building at 22 Drury Street, Dublin 2, which was sold for about £60,000 (€76,200) in 1994, has changed hands for €950,000.
The three-storey over basement building has a floor area of 68.6sq m (738sq ft) but only 12.6sq m (136sq ft) on the ground floor because a previous owner sold a right of way through the shop into the Asia Market store at the rear.
The new owners are Ian McClean and Partners, a company involved in management and organisational skills, who apparently plan to lease the shop.
Naomi Howard of Hamilton Osborne King, who handled the sale, said the high level of interest in the building - more than 80 parties viewed it underlined the strong appeal of the area which was was changing rapidly and was about to attract a top trader.
