DublinOffice/Retail: The British Tourist Authority is one of the tenants in a major investment property in College Green in the centre of Dublin which is for sale through Jones Lang LaSalle at a guide price of €6.5 million.
Numbers 18/19 College Green are on the south side of the street, opposite the Central Bank and close to the junction with Trinity Street, which is the natural corridor linking Hnery Street and Grafton Street via Temple Bar. The six-storey over basement building has 845.10 sq m (9,096 sq ft) of office and retail space and is currently producing €237,056 per annum in rent.
The basement and ground floor are occupied by the UK government-sponsored Travel Information Centre on a 25-year lease from 1995 and an annual rent of €92,056. The top five floors, covering 507.62 sq m (5,463 sq ft) , are occupied by IT Solutions under a 35-year lease from 1991 at a current rent of €145,000.
"This is a quality city centre commercial building in a location that has proven itself over time to be particularly popular with service retailers," said Suzanne O'Loughlin of Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets Department, which is selling the property by private treaty.
