Two newly developed retail units near Christchurch in Dublin 8 are to go for sale through Hooke & MacDonald's commercial department.
The shops are on the ground floor of an apartment development fronting on to Cornmarket, near the junction of High Street, Thomas Street and Francis Street.
The smaller of the units has 135 sq m (1,453 sq ft) and is set within a former banking hall. It would suit a showrooms or restaurant and is for sale at €1.1 million. Alternatively, it can be rented at €60,000 per annum.
The second shop has a floor area of 160 sq m (1,722 sq ft) and is available at €1.4 million or for rent at €70,000 per annum. If bought by investors, they will be able to avail of capital allowances as a write-off against rental or other income.
