Construction of a distinctive five-storey office block has just begun on what is one of the last significant development sites on the north side of the Liffey quays in Dublin city centre.
The 4,750sq m (51,129sq ft) building at 31-36 Ormond Quay was designed by architects DMOD who got planning approval without any objections. The block will be used mainly for own-door office suites and is being developed by John Paul Developments who bought the site from Dublin City Council. HT Meagher O'Reilly, which is handling the sale of the own-door office suites which range in size from 46.5sq m (500sq ft), says the building was designed to provide 'bespoke barrister office suites'.
