Lifestyle Sports is the latest high profile retailer to opt for Citywest shopping centre in west Dublin.
The leading sportswear retailer will trade out of a 350sq m (3,767sq ft) store when the centre opens for business in September. The main anchor, Dunnes Stores, will be opening a store of 6,700sq m (72,118sq ft) with 60 per cent of the space being allocated to drapery and the remainder aimed at the grocery trade.
Over 75 per cent of the retail space is now committed to traders such as O'Brien's Fine Wines, Eddie Rockets, McCabe Pharmacy, Carphone Warehouse, Jean Scene and KFC.
Joint letting agents Bannon Commercial and Savills Hamilton Osborne King estimate that there are over 15,000 people living within 1km of the shopping site and that this figure will double in the next two to four years.
