Hackett London, the prestigious men’s clothing retailer, is planning to pull out of Dublin’s South Anne Street because of a disappointing level of trading.
The multiple has enlisted Emma Coffey of Lisney to find a suitable replacement tenant to sub- lease the premises, which forms part of a mixed residential, office and retail development completed in 2007 by Ivor Fitzpatrick's Briarglen Ltd.
Hackett is paying a rent of €406,000 per annum under a 20-year one month lease from October 2007.
It plans to sub-lease the premises at a rent of €200,000 per annum. The unit is fitted out to an exceptionally high standard, has a ground-floor retail area of 151.7sq m (1,632sq ft), a further 98.66sq m (1,062sq ft) of first-floor retail space and ancillary first-floor space of 36.43sq m (392sq ft).
