SWORDS Business Park in north Dublin has been given a new lease of life with the announcement that Stream Global Services is relocating to a 3,530sq m (38,000sq ft) space there. It will accommodate a new call centre which will employ 450 people.
In what is one of the largest office lettings in the Dublin area this year, the American company is taking over a lease held by management solutions advisers Sitel, which moved out of the Swords campus in recent years. The lease had another two years to run.
Stream is likely to be paying a rent of €107 per sq m (€10 per sq ft) for the 15-year-old building which is owned by Equity Properties and a number of pension funds. The new lease will run for five years. Nicholas Corson of agent Finnegan Menton handled the assignment of the lease for Sitel.
Stream is mainly engaged in providing technical support and customer service and sales for a number of clients, including software companies, computer maufacturers, airlines and electronic manufacturers.
