A two-storey retail premises occupied by Dunne & Crescenzi in Sandymount village, Dublin 4, is for sale as an investment property through Jones Lang LaSalle at a guide price of over €2 million.

Number 11 Seafort Avenue is a newly constructed building close to the Dart station and O'Reilly's pub. It has a total of 175sq m (1,884sq ft) plus a covered rear yard which is used as a storage. The property is let for 35 years from 2004 at a passing rent of €85,000 per annum. The same restaurateur has two other outlets in Dublin city centre.

Dun Laoghaire redevelopment site of 0.24 acres for €2m

Hamilton Osborne King is seeking over €2 million for a redevelopment site of 0.09 hectares (0.24 acres) at Mounttown Road Lower, Dún Laoghaire, which is for sale by private treaty. There is an existing two-storey house and a mews building on the site which has 18 metres of road frontage. According to the selling agents, the site is likely to be used for housing, a crèche, surgery or retail.

AIB branch in Drogheda secures strong price of €7.9m

AIB has secured an exceptionally strong price of €7.9 million at auction for the former AIB branch at 98/99 West Street in Drogheda, Co Louth. Selling agent GVA Donal O'Buachalla had been guiding €4.5 million for the property which is now likely to be expanded and converted for retail use. The higher than expected selling price is all the surprising because a major new shopping centre - due to open in the docklands later this year - is certain to be a major blow to business on West Street. A second shopping centre is also on the cards for Drogheda.

The AIB premises has a ground floor area of 230sq m (2,475sq ft) which is likely to be expanded into a rear yard. The two overhead floors have a further 203sq m (2,185sq ft) of offices or storage space. This is the second bank branch on West Street to have been closed by AIB.

Over €2m for half-acre site at The Burnaby, Greystones

Lennox Estates in Bray is seeking offers over €2 million for a well-located half-acre site at The Burnaby in Greystones, Co Wicklow. Planning permission has never been sought on the plot but in 1908 The Burnaby Estate gave consent for a new home there. However, the person for whom it was intended never returned from the first World War and the family never utilised the permission. There is also permission to connect into all the mains services. Under the current development plan, the housing density on The Burnaby is four units per acre.

The same agent is to auction on May 25th an adjoining four-bedroom house, Meadow Garden, which also stands on a half-acre site.

1.3-acre Swords industrial site sells for strong price of €2.6m

Industrial land values continue to hold up despite the slowdown in the letting market. North's estate agents has secured €2.6 million at auction for an industrially zoned site of 1.3 acres at Swords Road in Santry, Dublin 17. John Cronin of North's said the sale price reflected a valuation of €2 million per acre. The land is a mile from Dublin Airport and is located at the junction of the Old Airport Road and Turnapin Lane, next to Woodford Business Park.

€450,000 for industrial unit at Finaglas Business Centre

Hamilton Osborne King is suggesting a price over €450,000 for a mid-terrace industrial unit at Finglas Business Centre on the JHamestown Road in Finglas, Dublin 11.

The 285sq m (3,067 sq ft) unit is producing €33,600 per annum from Gallaghers Chocolates and Tony Quinn Food Group.
