Founder of commercial property agents Spain Courtney Doyle died last week

Paddy Spain, who died last week, was a founder of commercial property agents Spain Courtney Doyle.

He was predeceased last year by one of his partners, David Courtney. Mr Spain (79) trained as an accountant with KPMG before joining the commercial property division of Lisney.

His clients included Johnny Ronan, whom he advised on the purchase of Bolands Mills, now known as Treasury Building, and the KPMG offices at Stokes Place.
