A partially developed site at Lower Georges Street in Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin, formerly occupied by retail trader Iceland, has been sold by CBRE for slightly over the guide price of €1.75 million.

The 0.35 hectare (0.87 of an acre) site has planning permission for two retail units on the ground floor, basement car parking and 83 apartments on the upper floors.

Part of the construction work had already been carried out by Tuskar Residential Investment Properties before the company was put into receivership.

The site has frontage on to Georges Place as well as Lower Georges Street.
