ESTATE AGENTS Kelly Walsh are seeking in excess of €1,250,000 for a rented petrol station in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
The station, rented by Topaz, is located at a busy corner site with access to three roads beside Blanchardstown Town Centre.
Topaz is currently paying a rent of €150,000 per annum under a 25-year lease with rent reviews every five years. The next review is due in 2012. There are eight pumps on a large covered forecourt with a retail shop and car wash.
The sale has been called on the instructions of Kieran Wallace of KPMG, receiver to O’Rourke Quilter, who is acting on behalf of Bank of Scotland Ireland.
Kelly Walsh also recently sold two motor showrooms on adjoining sites. One of them extending to 1,408sq m (15,157sq ft) was acquired by Atlas Autoservice for a figure believed to be about €1.2 million.
Rathgar Motor Factors bought the second showroom of 557sq m (6,000sq ft) for a price in the region of €900,000. Adam McCormack of Kelly Walsh said both purchasers were able to secure finance because of the strength of their existing businesses.
