Redevelopment SiteThe choice of new homes in Greystones, Co Wicklow, is expected to grow over the next few years as several developers line up to get planning permission for their latest schemes. One landowner who has already cleared that fence plans to offload a site with full planning permission for 32 apartments.
Savills HOK is seeking over €5.25 million for 0.485 hectares (1.2 acres) at Applewood Heights off the Kindlestown Road in Greystones, which is to be auctioned on October 17th. At that price level, the units would work out at €164,000 each before acquisition costs are taken into account.
The planning permission provides for a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in four blocks ranging in size from 48-78sq m (517-840sq ft). There is also provision for 48 surface car-parking spaces.
The selling agent says that the site is within walking distance of all amenities in the town centre, including the harbour which is shortly to be redeveloped to include a marina and homes.
