Once the Burlington Hotel has been sold, the Jurys Doyle Group looks set to put the budget Jurys Inn chain on the market.
The heavily indebted group, controlled by the family of the late PV Doyle, will use the proceeds of the Burlington and Jurys Inn sales to reduce its debts and invest in its existing premium hotels.
Merrill Lynch is advising the company on its options for the 20-strong Jurys Inns in Ireland and the UK.
Meanwhile, Jurys Doyle will have first option to operate any new hotel developed on the site of the three Ballsbridge hotels recently acquired by businessman Sean Dunne.
