Fayrewood's German subsidiary, Computerlinks, has announced a 157 per cent rise in pre-tax profit from 2.8 million deutschmarks (1.4 million) in 1998 to DM7.2 million (3.68 million) in 1999. Sales grew by 106 per cent from DM44.1 million to DM90.8 million.
Fayrewood, which owns 53 per cent of Computerlinks, was founded by Mr Pierce Casey, who has shareholdings in a number of Irish publicly-quoted companies. He controls 15 per cent of Fayrewood. ComputerLinks gained a share quotation on the Neuer Markt last year.
