Timber company Cranwood Industries, of Warrenpoint, Co Down, has announced plans to invest £2.25 million (€3.3 million) in an attempt to increase sales in the Republic. Cranwood Industries produces mouldings from timber for the building and DIY industries, and is a sister company of Newry Building Supplies within the Murdock Group.
