IN a report entitled "CRH board pay rises 10 per cent" in yesterday's Irish Times, it was stated that a 1995 "other remuneration payment" disclosed in the company's annual report and accounts included a payment to the family of CRH's late chairman, Mr Des Traynor.

However, no such payment was made. The remuneration referred to relates to costs incurred as a result of a number of management changes following the appointment of Mr Tony Barry as chairman.
