The battle for control of upmarket store Liberty will be decided today when shareholders vote on the group's fate.

The two sides in the dispute were digging in yesterday as the Stewart-Liberty family, with South African investor Mr Bryan Myerson, made last-minute preparations to persuade investors to oust chairman Mr Denis Cassidy.
