A £2.7 million (€3.4 million) technology and software incubator has been opened at the University of Ulster's Magee College in Derry.

The centre provides space for at least eight new software businesses in a purpose-built facility. Services offered include state-of-the-art software and electronic testing laboratories and secretarial support. Some £1 million of the funding was provided under the EU Peace Programme.
