Dragon Oil has announced a further gas discovery in the Bussabong 3x well on its block B12/32 offshore in the Gulf of Thailand. It said it has "achieved a maximum flow rate of 9.75 million cubic feet of gas per day and 35 barrels of gas condensate per day on a 1.5 inch choke".

The rig is now moving to the second well location in the current three well programme. Dragon has a 30.5 per cent stake in the block.
