Significant corporate donations are being sought by Dublin Chamber of Commerce for a fund it is setting up to help victims of the attacks in New York and Washington. The proceeds of the Chamber's annual dinner, which will be held next week, will also go to the fund.

The Tβnaiste, Ms Harney, and the US Ambassador, Mr Richard Egan, who will speak at the dinner, will participate in a live link-up to New York with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
