TeamWORKS, a Vienna-based developer of electronic document management solutions, is to open its first office outside Austria in Dublin. The new subsidiary will be located in south-west Dublin, and managed by two former Siemens executives, Mr David Rossi and Mr Alan Cherry. Mr Rossi, managing director of TeamWORKS (Ireland), said the parent company viewed Dublin as a more central location than Vienna in the context of the European IT industry. "We are, therefore, considering the option of the Dublin subsidiary establishing a technical support centre for international users later in 1999."
TeamWORKS's ADOS document management package already has an established user base in Ireland, particularly in the distribution and manufacturing sectors.
