Sabena flights from Dublin Airport were operating normally yesterday despite the fact the airline faces possible bankruptcy after its ailing co-parent Swissair failed to give it a much-needed cash injection, according to the airline.

The Belgian national airline operates four flights a day from Dublin to Brussels in conjunction with Aer Lingus.

Meanwhile, Swissair subsidiary Crossair, which operates one flight daily from Dublin to Zurich, said its operation was continuing as normal. Crossair has been authorised to take over short and medium-haul flights in Europe from Swissair by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
