The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has sold €500 million of fifteen-year bonds at auction.

The auction was confined to recognised primary dealers.

The bonds were sold at a yield of 1.56 per cent and the NTMA said the auction of the 2.4 per cent Treasury bond due 2030 was covered 3.15 times.

Following Thursday’s auction, the NTMA has raised €8.5 billion in the bond markets so far this year.
