Elan Corporation is to grant US marketing and distribution rights for Verelan and Verelan PM to Schwarz it announced yesterday. The commercial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement Schwarz will immediately start marketing and distributing Verelan and will expand its current sales force of 275 sales representatives.

Both products are used to treat hypertension.
