Field Management Ireland (FMI) is to create 100 jobs after it won a sales contract with ESB’s energy supply business.
The company will manage Electric Ireland’s field sales activity in 2012, selling gas and energy services directly to consumers in addition to home energy services such as gas boiler maintenance, home insulation, and boiler replacement.
FMI has previously worked with Electric Ireland, launching a field sales campaign in 2011.
Electric Ireland's general manager Liam Molloy said the energy company had made "significant gains" last year, and had exceeded sales targets.
This year, the company is aiming to increase its share of Ireland's gas market.
