Enterprise Ireland is shedding 98 jobs under a voluntary early retirement scheme, announced earlier this year.

The staff, who come from a variety of grades and from offices outside and around the State as well as the Dublin headquarters, will leave between now and the end of October.

Enterprise Ireland employed 1,000 people in 32 offices worldwide and eight in Ireland.

The cuts were part of an organisational realigning and restructuring.
