FLS Aerospace, whose parent FLS Industries is buying TEAM Aer Lingus, the aircraft maintenance subsidiary, has won a £77 million contract in Britain. The contract is to provide total aircraft support for EasyJet. The contract is for seven years. An FLS spokesman said last night that it was too early to know if some of the work could be diverted to TEAM, although he did not rule out the possibility. The work will be centred at London's Luton Airport.
