Hibernian Foods, the Irish-owned and Nasdaq-quoted foods company, has made its third acquisition in the British consumer foods industry, with the purchase of Freshbake Foods' frozen doughnuts, fruit cobblers and hot pudding business in the north of England. Hibernia has not revealed how much it has paid for the Freshbake business, but sales of $12 million (£8 million) will boost Hibernia's sales of consumer foods to $120 million (£81 million).
