The High Court yesterday lifted an order restraining picketing at Foynes port in Co Limerick after it was told all the issues which led to the picket being placed by independent hauliers had been resolved. Mr Justice Kinlen was told the order, granted last Wednesday to Foynes Port Company, could be lifted with the agreement of all parties involved.
Solicitor Mr Michael Peart, for Foynes Port Company, told the judge all the issues had been resolved and asked that the order be vacated. This would enable the parties return to work. Mr Justice Kinlen consented.
