FYFFES is paying over £3.1 million to buy out the minority shareholdings in the Cork based fresh fruit distributor, Sunpak & Mayfield. The Sunpak shareholders, father and son Conor J. and Con A. O'Flynn and brothers Michael and Denis Dooley, will receive £1.57 million in cash and 1.375 million Fyffes shares - currently worth £1.54 million - for their combined 49.9 per cent holding. A further payment of £750,000 may be paid depending on Sunpak's performance.
The vendors of the company will be staying with the business. Sunpak has sales of £15 million.
